PACIFIC REPERTORY THEATRE
Carmel's Pacific Repertory Theatre (the Monterey Peninsula's only professional theatre, at home at the Golden Bough Playhouse in Carmel-by-the-Sea) offers a significant discount to military personnel. Enjoy quality professional theatre for only $12 per couple (save up to $58!) For performance info visit the Pac Rep website, www.pacrep.org. For tickets call Pac Rep's box office at 622-0100. This discount is good for Thursday and Sunday performances only and does not apply to special engagements. You must show a valid military ID card at the Box Office.

DISCOUNT PARKING PASSES
Monterey City Residents and all military family members with valid ID can purchase a discount parking pass for $10 per calendar year. This pass will give you TWO HOURS of FREE parking every time you park in one of four attended lots in Monterey. The lots are located at the Monterey Fisherman's Wharf, right next to the Monterey Aquarium, the parking garage near Cannery Row (with My Museum in it), and one across the street from Fisherman's Wharf. (This is also where you buy the pass.)

To get the pass, head down Del Monte Blvd, passing by NPS on your left. Pass the Sports Center on your left, pass the East Parking garage on your left, then make a quick left on Tyler, then an immediate right into the West parking garage. The office is a little tiny thing right there at the entrance of the West parking garage. Bring your military ID, and give that to them first. Then you won't be required to bring a local utility bill, as required of the Monterey civilian residents. They'll also need to see your driver's license and vehicle registration for the vehicle that you'll be using for the parking pass. (NOTE: They do not need to be CA documents, just current in any state). Their hours are Mon-Fri from 8 AM to 5 PM.

MONTEREY COUNTY RESIDENT NIGHT
Tuesday and Wednesday nights are Monterey County Resident nights at the Monterey Fisherman's Wharf. All of the restaurants on the Wharf offer a couple of dinner specials, usually for $9.99 each, and they often include dessert. Ask about it before you order; they are usually not advertised. Show a local residency document to prove you live in this county (a cable bill, phone bill, or your driver's license if you have your current address on it). You can also get your parking validated if you ask for that from the restaurant before you leave.
